Azerbaijan's non-oil exports increases by 1.3% this year

During January-September 2024, the export volume of Azerbaijan's non-oil sector increased by 1.3% in comparison with the corresponding period of 2023 and amounted to USD 2.5 billion APA-Economics reports citing the export review.

According to the information, during January-September 2024, the export of food products increased by 13.3% and amounted to USD 698.3 million.

During the first 9 months of the current year, exported sugar and sugar confectionery products increased by 83.3%, cotton fiber by 70.9%, vegetable oils and fats by 31.7%, chemical industry products by 20.9%, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 11.6%, processed fruit and vegetable products increased by 14.6%.

During January-September 2024, the export of agro-industrial products increased by 60% and amounted to USD 233.4 million. As a whole, the combined export of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 17.8% and amounted to USD 755.4 million.
