"In January–July 2025, Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector exports increased by 11.4% compared to the corresponding period in 2024, amounting to 2.09 billion US dollars. In January–July 2025, food product exports rose by 23.9%, reaching 689 million US dollars," APA-Economics reports citing the August issue of the “Export Review” published by the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms (CAERC).
According to the information, in January–July 2025, sugar exports increased by 10.9 million US dollars or 55.1%, fruit and vegetables by 122.6 million US dollars or 31.9%, chemical industry products by 45.2 million US dollars or 30.4%, ferrous metals and products made from them by 8.6 million US dollars or 19.1%, cotton yarn by 2.6 million US dollars or 18.2%, and tea by 317 thousand US dollars or 8.8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
In January–July 2025, agricultural products increased by 27.9%, reaching 551.4 million US dollars, and agro-industrial products increased by 7.3%, totaling 178.8 million US dollars. Overall, the combined export of agricultural and agro-industrial products rose by 22.1%, amounting to 730.2 million US dollars.
