In January–April 2025, Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector exports increased by 18% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 1.1 billion USD, APA-Economics reports citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
During this period, exports of food products rose by 12.1%, amounting to 300.1 million USD.
According to the data, in the first four months of the current year, among non-oil and gas sector exports, chemical industry products increased by 35 million USD or 42.5%, sugar by 1.9 million USD or 25.8%, ferrous metals and related products by 4.1 million USD or 16.7%, fruits and vegetables by 26.8 million USD or 14.8%, aluminum and its products by 6.1 million USD or 9.8%, and cotton yarn by 360.9 thousand USD or 5.3% compared to the same period last year.
In January–April 2025, exports of agricultural products increased by 14%, reaching 232.7 million USD, while agro-industrial products rose by 7.9% to 90.8 million USD. Overall, the combined export of agricultural and agro-industrial products grew by 12.2%, totaling 323.57 million USD.
