In January 2026, more than 2 billion 50.3 million manats in taxes were received by the state budget through the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, which is 50.3 million manats more than the forecast, the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy told APA-Economics.
It was noted that revenues from the non-oil and gas sector exceeded 1 billion 467.1 million manats, and 42.1 million manats were paid to the budget in addition to the forecast. Compared to the corresponding period in 2025, tax revenues from this sector increased by 88.9 million manats or 6.5 percent.
71.6 percent of the taxes paid fell to the non-oil and gas sector, and 28.4 percent to the oil and gas sector.
