Azerbaijan's furniture production exceeds imports by more than 30%

During January-November 2024, furniture and its parts worth 150 million 114 thousand US dollars were imported to Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports based on its calculations citing the report of Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee.

This indicator is 24.2% or 29 million 267 thousand US dollars more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. During January-November 2023, furniture and its parts worth 120 million 847 thousand dollars were imported to Azerbaijan.

The share of furniture imports in total imports during the reporting period was 0.80%.

Noted that, according to the report of the State Statistical Committee, furniture worth 335.4 million manats was produced in the country in the first 11 months of 2024. This indicator is 40.5% more than in the corresponding period of 2023. Thus, furniture production exceeded imports by 31.4% during the reporting period.
