In January-May of 2023, Azerbaijan exported 238 893 tones of fruit and vegetable amounting to USD 241 mln. 967.9 thousand, according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on the report of the State Customs Committee.
The value of the exported fruit and vegetable increased by 10.4% or USD 22 mln. 725 thousand, while volume by 24.2% or 46 630 tones in comparison to the same period of the previous year.
In the first 5 months of 2022 192 thousand 263 tons of fruit and vegetable amounting to USD 219 mln. 242 thousand were exported from Azerbaijan.
