In January 2025, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover increased by 70.5% compared to the previous year, reaching USD 5 billion 90.8 million, APA-Economics reports citing the State Customs Committee.
Over the past year, the country's exports increased by 64.8%, reaching USD 3 billion 38.5 million, while imports grew by 79.7%, reaching USD 2 billion 52.4 million.
In January of this year, a positive trade balance of USD 987 million was recorded, which is 40.5% higher in comparison with the same period last year.
