In the months of January-March 2025, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover increased by 24.3% and amounted to USD 12 billion 48.87 million, APA-Economics reports citing the State Customs Committee.
Over the last year, the country's exports decreased by 6.7% to USD 6 billion 385.9 million, while imports increased by 52.6% to USD 5 billion 662.9 million.
During the reporting period, the foreign trade turnover generated a positive balance of USD 722.9 million, although this is 3.1 times lower than the same period last year.
