In January of this year, the value of goods sold and services rendered to meet consumer demand amounted to 6.8 billion manats, marking a 4.6 percent increase in comparable prices compared to January 2025, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.
According to the information, 78.1 percent of the total value accounted for retail trade turnover, 18.7 percent for the value of paid services provided to the population, and 3.2 percent for public catering turnover.
It was noted that the value of goods sold and services rendered by economic entities operating in the non-state sector increased by 4.5 percent compared to January of last year, reaching 6.5 billion manats, 45.7 percent of which was formed through the activities of individual entrepreneurs.
