Georgia exported 17,095 cars worth USD 296.99 million to Azerbaijan during January-August of 2023, APA reports citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
It was noted that the number of cars exported to Azerbaijan decreased by 3 110 units or 15.4% in annual terms but their value increased by $100.83 million or 51.4%. Georgia exported 20,205 cars worth USD 196.16 million to Azerbaijan during the first 8 months of 2022.
Georgia's car exports increased by 178.1% compared to the previous year and reached 1 billion 368.3 million dollars in 2023. Car exports made up 33.5% of Georgia’s total exports.
