In 2023, Georgia exported 22 393 cars worth USD 437, 233 mln. to Azerbaijan, said the National Statistics Office of Georgia, APA reports.
It was noted that in 2023 the total value of cars imported to Azerbaijan increased by USD 128,72 mln. or 41,72%, while the number decreased by 8,059 units or 26,46% year on year comparsion.
According to the statistics, the total value of the cars Georgia exported to Azerbaijan in 2023 is the highest indicator of the last 10 years.
In 2023 automobile export was the main export sector of Georgia. Last year, Georgia’s car export reached USD 2 bln. 126,57 mln. by increasing 2 times year on year. Azerbaijan accounted for 20.5% of Georgia's car exports.
