In January-June of 2023, 48373 automobiles worth a total of USD 753 million 304 thousand have been imported to Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports citing information released by State Customs Committee.
According to the source, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the number of automobiles increased by 13200 or 37.5%.
In the relevant period of 2022, 35 thousand and 173 automobiles worth a total of USD 460 million and 889 thousand had been imported to Azerbaijan.
Note that in the reporting period, the number of imported vehicles driven only by electric engines increased by 7.3 times or 971 cars and made 1124 cars compared to the corresponding period of last year.
