Azerbaijan’s coffee technology startup Coffeein has entered a rapid growth phase. The platform has surpassed 15,000 users, while the number of partner locations exceeds 200.
Through the mobile application, users can top up their balance and make QR code payments at partner locations, earning 10–20% cashback. With the “Premium” subscription model, users can also benefit from the “unlimited coffee” concept. At many partner locations, balance payments can be used not only for coffee but for the full menu. For user convenience, balance top-ups are available via Apple Pay and Google Pay payment systems, providing a fully secure and fast payment method.
Currently, Coffeein is one of Azerbaijan’s largest coffee partner network–based technology platforms.
International expansion target
The startup has moved its regional expansion plans into an active phase. Coffeein aims to enter the markets of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the near future.
Elchin Jabbarov, Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer of Coffeein, stated that the platform’s growth aligns with increasing demand for digital payment and loyalty solutions:
“Reaching more than 15,000 users and collaborating with 200+ partners demonstrates that the market is ready for innovative and user-friendly solutions. Our goal is to transform Coffeein into the leading coffee technology platform in the region. We are completing the initial preparation phase for entering the Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan markets.”
New feature – CoffeeMate
The newly introduced “CoffeeMate” (BETA) feature enables users to communicate and network anonymously (without sharing their mobile number) and securely within venues. The feature encourages social interaction while maintaining user privacy.
Elvin Amirov, Co-Founder and Chief Operation Officer of Coffeein, noted:
“CoffeeMate is not just a social feature; it is a tool for building digital communities within physical spaces. By prioritizing user privacy, we are delivering a next-generation networking experience.”
New phase in B2B direction
Coffeein has also launched its B2B sales model. The solutions offered to companies enable corporate coffee balances for employees, loyalty programs, and a unified payment infrastructure across the partner network.
Co-Founder and CTO Kenan Ahmadov added:
“We have built our technological infrastructure to serve both B2C and B2B segments. Digital coffee solutions for companies are becoming effective tools for employee motivation and customer loyalty.”
First place at the Netty National Internet Award for the second time
In 2025, Coffeein was awarded first place at the Netty National Internet Award for the second time. This achievement confirms the platform’s sustainable development in both technology and product strategy.
In the coming months, the company plans to share further updates regarding regional expansion and product functionality enhancements.
