At today’s session of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), the draft law “On Transport and Forwarding Activities” was put up for discussion, APA reports.
The draft law, consisting of 8 chapters and 31 articles, defines the legal, organizational, and economic foundations of transport and forwarding activities in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It will regulate the activities of state bodies (institutions), as well as legal entities, branches and representative offices of foreign legal entities, and individual entrepreneurs in this field, along with the relations arising between them.
The draft law was adopted in the first reading.
