Azerbaijan to pursue mutual recognition of authorized economic operators with partner countries

Azerbaijan will take steps toward the mutual recognition of authorized economic operators with other countries, APA-Economics reports.

This issue is reflected in the action plan of the “Reliable Partnership Concept” approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to the document, intergovernmental agreements on mutual recognition will first be implemented with neighboring countries and Azerbaijan’s main trading partners.

As a result, negotiations on the mutual recognition of authorized economic operators will be conducted on international and bilateral platforms.

The main executing body of the plan is the Cabinet of Ministers, while the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Economy, the State Customs Committee, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are designated as additional executors.
