Azerbaijan to consider mobile applications advertising carriers

The scope of advertising carriers is expanding in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

According to the report, this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Law "On Advertising" discussed in the Agrarian Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament).

This includes mobile applications (except for mobile applications of state bodies (institutions)) and digital platforms (including some of them), advertising notifications and SMS, a digital platform that is an advertising carrier - an Internet information resource used for broadcasting advertising (except for state information resources), an information and telecommunications network or their mobile applications, as well as a digital platform influencer - a natural or legal person who carries out advertising activities on digital platforms that are advertising carriers by using their reputation in exchange for material gain.
