Azerbaijan spent over AZN 3.6 bln. on construction works in liberated districts

In January-September 2024, AZN 3 billion 604 million 307 thousand were spent on construction and installation works in Azerbaijan's liberated districts, according to calculations conducted by APA-Economics based on the report of the State Statistics Committee.

The volume of this indicator represents a decrease of 6.9% or AZN 266.3 million compared to the same period last year. Thus, in January-September 2023, AZN 3 billion 870 million 597 thousand were directed for construction and installation works in the liberated districts.

Note that during the reporting period, the largest amount of funds were allocated to Kalbajar (AZN 797 million 437 thousand), Aghdam (AZN 527 million 112 thousand), and Lachin (AZN 567 million 497 thousand) district.

Recall that in January-September of this year, AZN 12 billion 711 million were allocated for fixed capital in Azerbaijan, of which AZN 9 billion 193 million were spent on construction and installation works. Thus, the funds used for construction and installation works in the liberated territories during the reporting period accounted for 39.2% of the total amount spent on reconstruction across the Republic.
