In 2024, 91,838 cars worth a total of 1 billion 844 million 157 thousand dollars were imported to Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports citing the State Customs Committee.
In comparison with 2023, the number of cars imported into the country decreased by 4.3% or by 4,133 units, while their value increased by 9.7% or $163.5 million.
In the previous year, 95,971 cars worth $1 billion 680 million 652 thousand were imported to Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that during the reporting period, the number of imported vehicles powered only by electric engines was 3,027, and the number of hybrid vehicles was 10,382.
