The Head of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, President of the Intra-European Organisation of Tax Administrations (IOTA), Orkhan Nazarli, held a video meeting with the Head and CEO of Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), Fook Chuen Ow, the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy told APA-Economics.
According to the information, during the meeting, the expansion of bilateral and multilateral relations, priorities in tax administration cooperation, and the establishment of a legal and regulatory framework were discussed. The exchange of ideas on issues such as risk management in tax operations between the countries, mutual exchange of information, digital tax administration, effective tackling against tax fraud and tax evasion, and more have been made. Additionally, the necessity of further strengthening bilateral relations in the field of taxation was emphasized, and advanced practices for improving administration were reviewed.
IOTA President Orkhan Nazarli invited Fook Chuen Ow to participate in the 29th Assembly of the organization, which will be held in Baku.
