Azerbaijan sharply increases electric vehicle import

In January-February of this year, Azerbaijan imported 11 145 units of electric vehicles worth USD 125 433,4 thousand which is 25,3% and 18,1% more in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year respectively, according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on the reports of the State Customs Committee.

In the first two months of the current year, the country imported 10,340 cars and other motor vehicles worth $ 95,133.71 thousand, mainly intended for the transportation of people. This indicator is 15,2% more in terms of value in comparison to the same indicator of 2021, and 20% more in terms of number.
