Azerbaijan reveals volume of its trade transactions with OTS member countries -LIST

In January-July of this year, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover with the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) (Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan) amounted to 4 billion 227.6 million US dollars, APA-Economics reports according to its calculations based on the data from the State Customs Committee.

This indicator is 8.3% more than in the same period last year.

During the period, Azerbaijan's trade turnover with the OTS member countries amounted to 14.7% of the country's total trade turnover.

Trade turnover

In 7 months, Azerbaijan's trade turnover with Türkiye amounted to 3 billion 384 million US dollars (6.5% - per year), with Kazakhstan 517.2 million US dollars (3.8 times + per year), with Uzbekistan 268.9 million US dollars (2.3 times + per year), and with Kyrgyzstan 57.7 million US dollars (2 times + per year). In Azerbaijan's total trade turnover, trade turnover with Türkiye accounted for 11.7%, trade turnover with Kazakhstan 1.8%, trade turnover with Uzbekistan 0.9%, and trade turnover with Kyrgyzstan 14.7%.

Exports

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported products worth 2 billion 9 million US dollars to Türkiye (13.7% - per year), 60 million US dollars to Kazakhstan (53.3% + per year), 35.4 million US dollars to Uzbekistan (90.2% + per year), and 7.5 million US dollars to Kyrgyzstan (67.6% + per year). In relation to the country's total export volume, exports to Türkiye amounted to 13.2%, exports to Kazakhstan to 0.4%, exports to Uzbekistan to 0.2%, and exports to Kyrgyzstan to 0.05%.

Imports

In January-July, Azerbaijan imported products worth 1 billion 374.9 million US dollars from Türkiye (6.5% + annually), 457.1 million US dollars from Kazakhstan (4.7 times + annually), 233.5 million US dollars from Uzbekistan (2.3 times + annually), and 50 million US dollars from Kyrgyzstan (9.6 times + annually). Imports from Türkiyeaccounted for 10.1% of the country's total imports, imports from Kazakhstan for 3.4%, imports from Uzbekistan for 1.7%, and imports from Kyrgyzstan for 0.4%.
