Azerbaijan ranks among top markets for Türkiye’s export growth

In the 11 months of the current year, Türkiye’s exports increased by 3.7 percent compared to the same period last year, rising to 247.2 billion dollar, Anadolu Agency reported, citing the country’s Ministry of Trade, APA-Economics reports.

According to the information, Türkiye exported goods worth 25 billion 310 million 335 thousand dollars to its neighboring countries, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Greece in January–November, which is 3.4% more compared to the annual figure.

During the reporting period, Türkiye’s largest export destination among neighboring countries was Iraq with approximately 9.3 billion dollars. Bulgaria ranked second (4.2 billion dollars), and Greece ranked third (3.2 billion dollars) in this indicator.

It is noted that during January–November, the top three countries to which Türkiye increased its exports the most were Syria (54.2%), Azerbaijan (6.1%), and Bulgaria (6%).
