An agreement was signed between Azerbaijan's Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) in Qatar on establishing the Azerbaijan-Qatar Joint Business Council, APA-Economics reports.
The document was signed by Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and member of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) Ali Abdullatif Al Mesned.
Azerbaijan-Qatar Business Council will be a platform on which the general situation of the bilateral economic-trade cooperation between the two countries and their future directions will be discussed and relations among entrepreneurs will be promoted.
The Business Council will support the initiatives of the entrepreneurs in order further to develop bilateral economic-trade relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar, will help to establish direct connections between businesses, including SMEs, mutual visits of the entrepreneurs, meetings, joint seminars, and round tables will be organized, exchange of commercial, trade, economic, scientific, technological and other information will be implemented, which will be beneficial for the development of the economic relations, establishment and operation of joint enterprises and other mutual cooperation forms will be supported.
