In January 2025, Azerbaijan produced 235 passenger cars and 8 trucks, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
According to the report, compared to the corresponding period of last year, passenger car production decreased by 42.1%, while truck production decreased by 87.3%.
Note that as of February 1 of the current year, the finished product stock consisted of 141 passenger cars and 4 trucks, respectively.
During the reporting period, 46 tractors were produced in the country, which is a decrease of 6.1% compared to the corresponding period of last year.
Recall that last year, 5,998 passenger cars and 697 trucks were produced in the country.
