Digital transformation roadmaps are being prepared for 18 local enterprises in Azerbaijan in 2026, First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev stated during his speech at the III National Competition Forum held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, this work is being carried out within the framework of a program implemented by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
E. Aliyev noted that by 2030, it is planned to assess the digital readiness of additional enterprises and prepare individual roadmaps for digital and green transformation through state funding.
The deputy minister stated that the inclusion of SOCAR’s Urea Plant in the World Economic Forum’s Global Lighthouse Network this year is one of the examples demonstrating the technological development opportunities of industrial enterprises in the country.
According to him, the main task is to ensure that this experience is extended to a broader range of enterprises.
E. Aliyev also stated that a total of nine projects for 2026–2027 have been approved in Azerbaijan within the framework of public-private partnerships.
At the same time, 23 investment documents with a total value of USD 10.8 billion were signed at the II Azerbaijan International Investment Forum held in September. Together with the projects announced during Baku Energy Week, this amount reaches USD 16.7 billion.
