In January-July 2023, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Japan amounted to USD 244,366,000, which is 56.3% or USD 88,000,000 more than the corresponding period of 2022, according to calculations done by APA-Economics based on the report by the State Customs Committee.
During the reporting period, the volume of exports from Azerbaijan to Japan decreased by 0.5% and equaled USD 9,792,000. During the same period, the volume of exports from Japan to Azerbaijan increased by 60% and amounted to 234,574,000.
