“Despite the mandatory restrictions imposed due to the pandemic, rapid growth in trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia is observed,” said Mikayil Jabbarov Azerbaijani Economy Minister at the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey business forum held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, in January-October this year, Azerbaijan's trade turnover with Georgia increased by 33%.
“Azerbaijan is one of the largest investors in Georgia. To date, Azerbaijan has invested $ 3.3 billion in Georgia. Azerbaijan is interested not only in the development of trade ties but also in increasing the level of representation in the Georgian economy,” noted Azerbaijani Economy Minister.
