Since the beginning of this year, Azerbaijan has been included in the top three countries that import wood material from Russia's Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District., APA-Economics reports citing information released by the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of Russia ("Rosselkhoznadzor").
Since the beginning of this year, 9.9 thousand cubic meters of products have been supplied to Azerbaijan from the Autonomous District.
In general, during the reporting period, the export of wood from the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District amounted to 214.9 thousand cubic meters, which is 29.5% less than last year.
The main importing countries are China - 59.4 thousand cubic meters, Uzbekistan - 88 thousand cubic meters, Azerbaijan - 9.9 thousand cubic meters, Kazakhstan - 42.6 thousand cubic meters, Egypt - 3.8 thousand cubic meters, Iraq - 3.9 thousand cubic meters.
Moreover, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and European Union countries share the smallest volume of wood exports.
