During January-August of 2024, Azerbaijan’s export in the non-oil sector amounted to USD 2 billion 179.9 million, APA-Economics reports citing the State Customs Committee.
During the reporting period, among the products exported in the non-oil sector are fruits and vegetables, chemical industry products, plastic, polyethylene, polypropylene, aluminum and products made from it, cotton fiber and other products.
It should be noted that the Russian Federation ranked first in the list of countries that exported the most goods from the non-oil sector during January-August of the current year (USD 752 million). In this list, Türkiye ranked second (USD 394.6 million), Georgia ranked third (USD 157.7 million) was third, and the United States ranked fourth (USD 109.1 million).
