Work continues on attracting investors to industrial parks operating in the liberated territories and establishing new industrial enterprises, Seymur Adigozelov, Chairman of the Board of the Agency for Development of Economic Zones under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, said at the agency's press conference, APA reports.
According to him, nearly 70% of the Aghdam Industrial Park, established on 190 hectares, has been allocated for entrepreneurs' use.
He stated that construction work is underway for more than 15 enterprises in the existing industrial parks in the liberated territories: "This year, it is planned to launch production facilities for tobacco products, decorative stones, various types of adhesive tapes, disinfectants, liquid detergents, and bleaching products in the Aghdam and 'Araz Valley Economic Zone' industrial parks and the foundation will be laid for enterprises producing plastic containers and various metal electricity poles for high-voltage power transmission."
