Employees of the Digital Development Department of “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC (ADY) are conducting training for employees of “Georgian Railways” JSC (GR) in Tbilisi, ADY told APA-Economics.
The purpose of the practical training is to fully integrate the ticket sales systems of the two countries, ensure mutual monitoring of cash operations and align operational processes.
Within the framework of the training, operations related to ticket verification, registration and entry into the registry will also be tested.
Until the full integration of the ADY and GR ticket systems is completed, the Georgian side will carry out ticket sales using ADY’s software. This will make it possible to establish a unified sales and registration process, and Georgian ticket offices will be visible on the ADY platform in real time.
It should also be noted that, taking into account certain difficulties related to the rolling stock of Georgian Railways, the wagons will be transported to Tbilisi by a locomotive owned by ADY. In other words, at the initial stage, transportation along the entire route will be carried out using rolling stock and locomotives owned by ADY.
