Azerbaijan-US economic cooperation is entering a new phase, encompassing artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and digital innovation, Huseyn Huseynov, Adviser to the Ministry of Economy, at the event "Technovation – Science and Innovation for Sustainable Economic Transformation" held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, the United States has been one of Azerbaijan's most reliable economic partners for more than 30 years, and the two countries have established a strong foundation of cooperation in the fields of energy, trade, and digital transformation.
H. Huseynov noted that the Azerbaijan-US Economic Dialogue held last week once again demonstrated new opportunities for cooperation between the parties.
The ministry official stated that, in addition to continuing cooperation in the fields of energy and critical minerals, the parties are developing a new phase of partnership in high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and digital innovation.
According to him, cooperation with Dell Technologies, Oracle, Microsoft, Amazon, and other companies indicates that Azerbaijan-US relations are transitioning from a traditional investment partnership to strategic cooperation in technology and innovation.
H. Huseynov emphasized that these initiatives serve to increase productivity in the country, create new jobs, attract investment, and strengthen Azerbaijan's global competitiveness.
