25 Czech-owned companies operate in Azerbaijan

Currently, 25 Czech companies operate in Azerbaijan in the fields of agriculture, industry, transport, construction, trade, and services, this was stated during a roundtable meeting held in Prague with the participation of Czech businessmen, as part of the visit of Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, to the Czech Republic, APA-Economics reports.

Minister Mikayil Jabbarov emphasized that relations between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic are based on mutual trust and common strategic priorities. It was noted that the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership signed in 2015 is important in terms of the development of long-term cooperation.

It was noted that economic and trade relations with the Czech Republic are developing. In January-June 2025, the trade turnover between the countries amounted to approximately 485 million US dollars.
