In January-February of 2024, 35,960 thousand barrels of oil were transported through Türkiye’s territory via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, which is 2,6% more in annual comparison, APA-Economics reports citing Türkiye’s "BOTAŞ" company.
According to information, 35,049 thousand barrels of oil were transported through the territory of Türkiye via BTC pipeline in the corresponding period of previous year.
Note that 228,811 thousand barrels of oil was transported through Türkiye via BTC pipeline in 2023, which is 1,5% more in comparison with 2022.
Recall that oil produced from Azerbaijan's Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields is imported via BTC pipeline. Besides, the oil of other producers is also sent to the territory of Türkiye via BTC pipeline.
