Revenues from electricity, gas and steam production decline in Azerbaijan

In January-July of this year, products worth AZN 2,084.7 million were produced and services were provided in Azerbaijan’s electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector, down 2.5% year-on-year, the State Statistical Committee said, APA-Economics reports.

According to the information, during the reporting period, the volume of products produced in the country’s water supply, waste treatment and processing sector amounted to AZN 383.9 million, which represents a 0.6% decrease compared to the corresponding period last year.

It should be recalled that last year, products worth AZN 3,484.8 million were produced and services were provided in Azerbaijan’s electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector, up 0.3% year-on-year.

During the reporting period, the volume of products produced in the country’s water supply, waste treatment and processing sector amounted to AZN 654.8 million, which represents a 2.5% increase compared to 2024.
