In January-July of this year, the total value of production in Azerbaijan's mining industry amounted to AZN 23,490 million, remaining equal to the corresponding figure of the previous year, stated in the monthly report of the State Statistical Committee, APA-Economics reports.
According to the report, crude oil and natural gas production accounted for AZN 20,833.9 million of the total figure, which represents a 1.5% decrease year-on-year.

According to the data, during the reporting period, marketable oil production, the sector's main product, amounted to 15,504.1 thousand tons, while marketable natural gas production amounted to 22,777.3 million cubic meters.
It is noted that marketable oil production decreased by 3.1% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, while marketable gas production increased by 1%.
