"Relations between Azerbaijan and UK based on strategic partnership, mutual reliance," said Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov at an event on the occasion of birthday of King of the United Kingdom Charles III, APA reports.
Minister has noted that Azerbaijani President attaches great importance to deepening and diversification of relations between two countries: "The UK is the greatest investor in Azerbaijan with an investment of more than USD 35.9 bln.
Trade turnover between two countries has increased by 16% during the first quarter of this year.
Collaboration between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom plays great role in provision of global energy security."
