632,7 million tons of oil (with condensate) has been produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli oil-gas fields block and Shahdeniz gas-condensate field from commissioning until March 1, 2024, the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan told APA.
During the reporting period, 587,5 mln. tons of oil have been produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and around 45.2 mln. tons of condensate have been produced from Shahdeniz.
According to information, 630.7 million tons of oil and condensate produced in the fields were exported during the reporting period.
It was reported that 4.8 million tons of oil (with condensate) were produced in the country in January-February 2024. 2.7 million tons of oil production fell to Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, 0.7 million tons (condensate) to Shahdeniz, and 96 thousand tons (condensate) to Absheron field. SOCAR's oil production (with condensate) amounted to 1.3 million tons.
"3,9 million tons of oil (with condensate) have been transported for export in two months. 3.4 million tons of it fell to the consortium, and 0.5 million tons to SOCAR," noted the information.
