“1,500 to 1,700 people will have a house by the presidential decree on the improvement of the mortgage lending system in Azerbaijan,� head of the Economic Research Center, Gubad Ibadoghlu, said, the APA reports.
He said the amendments were significant and will contribute to the transition to mass mortgage lending.
The average price jumped 28% on the housing market in 2006 and improvement of mortgage terms will cause high demand on the market and increase the prices, he said. /APA/
