Domestic capital investment grows by 38% in Azerbaijan

Over AZN 4 750.1m, 15% up from last year, was directed to capital investment in Azerbaijan during the period of January-October.
Private enterprises and organizations made capital investment of AZN 3 579.8m (75.4%) while state-run structures made AZN 1 170.3m (24.6%).
Investment in construction grew by 9.5%, year-over-year, to AZN 2 408.3m.
AZN 4 075.9m was invested in production enterprises and AZN 674.2m in non-production sector.
The Cabinet told APA that the ratio of foreign investment used for capital investment to all the investment made in this period is 58%, and to domestic investment was 41.1%.
The portion of domestic investment used for the capital investment grew by 38% during this period.
Azerbaijan’s State Budget for this year envisages AZN 884.3m for construction, of which AZN 555.3m has been used during this period. /APA/
