Today, voting in snap parliamentary elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan has concluded, APA reports.
The voting process, which began at 08:00, ended at 19:00.
Polling stations have closed, and the counting of votes has begun.
The elections covered 125 constituencies with a total of 6,478 polling stations, and web cameras were installed in 1,000 of these stations.
A total of 6,421,960 voters were eligible to participate in the election.
For the voting process, 6,516,567 ballots were printed. Representatives from 25 political parties were registered as candidates in the elections.
A total of 112,749 local and 598 international observers (from 51 organizations and 69 countries) were registered to monitor the parliamentary elections.
In the elections, 990 candidates competed for 125 seats in Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis.
