Voting in the extraordinary presidential elections held in Azerbaijan has ended today, APA reports.
The voting process started at 8:00 a.m. and ended at 7:00 p.m.
7 candidates participate in the elections:
- Ilham Aliyev;
- Zahid Oruj;
- Razi Nurullayev;
- Fazil Mustafa;
- Elshad Musayev;
- Gudrat Hasanguliyev;
- Fuad Aliyev.
6 million 478 thousand 840 people across the country have the right to vote. Voters voted in 6537 polling stations (6319 permanent, 218 temporary) in 125 constituencies. The voting process was monitored by web cameras installed in 1000 polling stations.
In the extraordinary presidential elections, the Citizens' Labor Rights Protection League, together with the Oracle Advisory Group organization of the US, held exit poll in 500 polling stations in 40 constituencies, the "Rey" Monitoring Center in 200 polling stations in 33 constituencies, and the Sosiological Research Center LLC in 125 polling stations in 25 constituencies.
