Despite the repeated statements made by the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the provision of free activity of journalists in the extraordinary presidential elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan on February 7, attempts to misdirect public opinion are being observed at the level of some experts, says Media Development Agency, APA reports.

"In response to such baseless claims, we reiterate that on voting day, any journalist can perform his professional activities at the polling stations only by presenting the ID card of the media subject he works for, the journalist's right to obtain information is not restricted under any circumstances.

We would like to remind you that in the series of events jointly organized by the Central Election Commission, the Media Development Agency, the Audiovisual Council, and the Press Council, media subjects must strictly comply with the requirements of the election legislation, both in ensuring transparency in the election process and the pre-election campaign stage and when performing their professional activities on the voting day. they were told to do.
