"Based on the number of people who came to vote and their optimistic faces, it can be said that they believe that they are voting for their bright future," said Grigory Karasin, chairman of the International Relations Committee of the Russian Federation Council, who observed the extraordinary presidential elections in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

"They trust the candidates and choose the strongest one. This is a very good example of the unity of the society in the intention to do everything possible so that all the structures of the state go in the right direction, towards sovereignty and a modern state. We see a lot of young people, there are also veterans, they are all united. Election day fills the hearts of voters with optimism. This is not only about determining one's position on the ballot but about the future of every family and every person. People vote for stability, and social and economic development. Azerbaijan was preparing for elections, we know that 7 candidates were nominated and the strongest one will win. But the most important thing is that voters today are full of hope that Azerbaijan will become a dynamically developing state, the center of political and economic activity of the entire region," he said.
