A voting for extraordinary presidential elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan are underway in Lachin city after 30 years, APA's local bureau reports.
The citizens are using their right to vote in one more polling station of Lachin constituency No. 121 - polling station No. 105.
High voter turnout is being observed in the second half of the day too. Residents who returned back to Lachin – their native homelands, are voting here.
In total, 1493 voters have been registered in this polling station.
Note that voting in the presidential election is going on in Azerbaijan. Candidates for the presidency in the upcoming election include incumbent President Ilham Aliyev (New Azerbaijan Party), independent contenders Zahid Oruj and Fuad Aliyev, Razi Nurullayev (National Front Party), Fazil Mustafa (Great Order Party), Elshad Musayev (Great Azerbaijan Party), and Gudrat Gasanguliyev (Whole Azerbaijan Popular Front Party).
Polling stations are open for voters from 08:00, and to close at 19:00.
