"Yesterday, we visited 36 polling stations and did not record any interference. Conditions were provided for everyone to exercise their voting rights, Ömer Kocaman, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States and head of the observation mission, said at a press conference held today, APA reports.

He emphasized that the mission also monitored the vote-counting process at polling station No. 21 in the Narimanov district: "The mission did not detect any factors affecting the election results. No negative incidents were observed inside or near the polling stations. We declare that the elections were conducted openly and transparently, in accordance with the country's national legislation and internationally accepted laws."

Professor Aygün Attar, member of the Security and Foreign Policies Council under the President of Türkiye, stated that the number of female candidates in the snap parliamentary elections was quite high, which is commendable. According to Aygün Attar, women showed significant activity among voters during the voting process. She noted that this reflects a sign of democracy: "This also demonstrates that gender discrimination is not tolerated in Azerbaijan. This is an important event."
