GUAM Parliamentary Assembly has held a briefing on the results of the monitoring of the extraordinary presidential elections held in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
Altay Efendiyev, Secretary General of the organization, has shared his impressions about the election.
"We want to make the following statement based on the observations in the polling stations we visited. The elections were held in accordance with national legislation, the CEC organized the election process correctly, and the election was held in a completely transparent manner. Regarding the voters, I would like to say that the voting process was conducted in a manner based on the right to free election. In general, no violations of the law, and no complaints were registered by the group," said the Secretary General of GUAM.
