"The elections are being held at a quite high level of organization. We are observing the queues in all the polling stations and see that the residents of Azerbaijan are participating in the elections with honesty and consciously," Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Valery Kolyukh told APA.
"We understand that this is a historical day for the people of Azerbaijan because you are electing a head of state and today not only the residents of the part of Azerbaijan existing before the Garabagh War but also all the residents have the opportunity to vote. Even those who live in Garabagh are voting. Therefore, this is a historical event for the people of Azerbaijan and we could not have missed a historical event such as this, and this is why we are participating as international observers here and monitoring the election process. We want to note that the elections take place democratically. The people are participating quite actively, young people take part in elections. We hope that the results of the election will be calculated by tomorrow," the Member of the Verkhovna Rada noted.
