On January 7, 2024, the period allocated for the establishment of polling stations in foreign countries ends due to the extraordinary presidential elections in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to Article 35.6 of the Election Code, at least 30 days before the voting day, polling stations must be established by the heads of diplomatic missions or consular offices of the Republic of Azerbaijan in areas where the voters are located for the voting of voters who are in foreign countries on the voting day and who are consularly registered.
Due to the extraordinary presidential elections, this period covers the period until January 8.
Noted that extraordinary presidential elections will be held on February 7.
