"The priority areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia have been determined by the heads of state of both countries," First Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, coordinator of the IPA CIS international observer group Andrey Yatskin told reporters, APA reports.
According to him, Azerbaijan's participation in the work of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly is productive, in line with the spirit of relations between strategic allies: "Cooperation between the legislative bodies of Azerbaijan and Russia is one of the areas of our activity. I would like to note that the cooperation between our parliaments is carried out according to the agenda set by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin."
